Hildegarde Heymann, University of California, Davis, USA
Hildegarde Heymann is a Professor of Sensory Science in the Department of Viticulture and Enology at the University of California at Davis. She has a BSc in Agriculture (Enology and Viticulture) from the University of Stellenbosch as well as a Food Science M.S.degree and a PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry, both from UCDavis. Her research interests include descriptive analysis, sensometrics, and wine-food matching. She (with Harry Lawless from Cornell University) is a co-author of Sensory Evaluation of Foods, Principles and Practices.
