REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration fees

All prices are quoted in US Dollars.

• Industrial Participants: US$700
• Academic/Government Participants: US$520
• Students: US$440
  (Student registration forms must be accompanied by a signed letter from your head of department attesting to student status.)

Please note that a late booking surcharge of US$150 will be added to all registrations received after 1 June 2007.

The registration fee includes:

• Access to all symposium sessions
• Access to poster and exhibition areas
• Abstract book available at the symposium and symposium documentation
• A special issue of Food Quality and Preference available in 2008
• Lunch and mid-session refreshments as scheduled in the preliminary program
• Welcome drinks reception on Sunday 12 August 2007.

Presenter registration deadlines

Accepted oral and poster presenters should register no later than 1 June 2007 in order to ensure that their material is included in the final program and book of abstracts. Non-registered presentations will be withdrawn from the symposium after this date.

Payment

Alternative payment methods
Cheques should be made payable to Elsevier and should be sent with your completed registration form. In order to pay by bank transfer, you will first require an invoice. An invoice will be sent to you by airmail upon receipt of a signed registration form completed with your contact details and registration details. The reverse side of the invoice provides Elsevier bank account details for transfer purposes. Please do not transfer fees until you have received your invoice. It is essential that you include your invoice number when instructing your bank. Please forward a copy of the bank transfer documentation to the conference secretariat.

Cancellations

Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Symposium Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Symposium Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 1 July 2007, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 15 July 2007, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 15 July 2007 or for no-shows at the symposium, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable. In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the symposium, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Changes

Details are correct at the time of going to print. The organisers reserve the right to change any session in the final program.
